Processing of settlements of branches through consolidated correspondent account in SCROOGE banking system is performed on the basis of Bank Processing Center (BPC). BPC SCROOGE is a universal system. Its functionality is similar to that of electronic payment system SCROOGE. But BPC is a separate subsystem. It is designed for maintenance of different models of correspondent account in banks with developed branch structure and shall be operated at the head office. BPC performs interaction with branches and with regional clearing house - through ARM-3 (Workstation-3).
For creation of BPC in SCROOGE several MS SQL-databases located on one or more MS SQL servers are to be connected and to exchange information (open RSA-keys, documents, reference information about branches, banks and etc.). Information exchange is performed through BPC database that is the only connection link to the electronic payment system of the National Bank of Ukraine according to principles of 3 model. BPC databases and databases of the head office are located on one MS SQL-server. Different servers may be used for storage of these databases where necessary.
The system is a particular case of the unique mechanism of SCROOGE database synchronization.
This method of settlement processing in BPC SCROOGE based on 3 model of correspondent account is approved by the National Bank and successfully implemented in such large banks as "MT-Bank" (Kremenchug), "Pivdencombank" (Dnepropetrovsk), ""Donbirgbank (Donetsk), "Diamant" (Kiev) and "Dongorbank (Donetsk).
